Gingerbread is an approved, accredited childcare service, which means that all Australian resident families are able to claim the Child Care Benefit.  The benefit you receive depends on your income, hours used per week and the number of children you have in childcare.  Please ring the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50 to register. The Gingerbread CRN is 407 389 200A. In addition the Commonwealth provides a 50% child care rebate as a deduction from your assessed income tax for all child care expenses for the year prior to 30th June each year. Please ask for the handout, or to borrow one of the CDs that better explain this assistance to families. All the full fee paying parents must complete a Full Fee paying form from the Family Assistance Office (FAO).
