In rural parts of India, access to education is often limited—not by potential, but by opportunity. At Gingerbread, we’ve supported initiatives that provide children in underserved villages with access to technology, including desktops and projectors, giving them the tools to connect, learn, and imagine a different future.
For many of these children, this is their first experience with digital learning. It’s a small but powerful step in helping them engage with a world of possibilities beyond their immediate surroundings.

Gingerbread is proud to support the incredible Pathway of Hope initiative, which is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children in South Sudan. Through fundraising efforts, we contribute to giving these children a chance for a brighter, safer, and more hopeful future.
This year, thanks to the dedication of the Pathway of Hope team and the support of donors, the project has made significant progress by ensuring children’s access to education. Funds have been used to cover school fees, uniforms, and learning materials, and to employ an on-site teacher who educates younger children not yet old enough for formal schooling—aligned with Article 28 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
