Our People

Coming from a background in finance and strategic planning, my journey into early childhood education might seem unexpected—but it has been one of the most meaningful decisions of my life.

As a parent of two children who have experienced the early learning system, I gained valuable insight into the many strengths of the sector, as well as areas where there is opportunity to do better. Those experiences shaped my commitment to building centres that reflect the highest standards—places I would be proud for my own children to attend.

What began as a supportive role behind the scenes quickly grew into a deep appreciation for the profound impact early learning services have on children, families, and communities. I realised that the same principles I valued in finance—long-term thinking, discipline, strong foundations, and sustainable growth—are just as essential in early childhood education.

At Gingerbread, my role is to ensure our centres operate smoothly, sustainably, and with clear purpose, allowing our educators to focus on what they do best: nurturing children’s development and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

I believe that when a service is built on thoughtful planning, sound financial management, and a clear, values-driven vision, it creates lasting stability—not only for the centre, but for the families who place their trust in us and the educators who give so much each day.

Behind every enriching program and welcoming classroom is a dedicated team, and I’m proud to help build the strong foundations that support their work.

With over a decade in early childhood education, I’ve been privileged to lead passionate teams and support educators in creating meaningful, joyful experiences for children and families.

They say, “it takes a village to raise a child,” but I believe it also takes a child to change the village. Children are the heart of our communities—their curiosity, wonder, and joy inspire everything we do.

At Gingerbread, we believe a child’s love for learning begins with responsive, caring adults. Our role is to spark that love, nurture their growth, and create environments where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

This is the heart of our work—and the reason I do what I do every day.

As the director of Gingerbread Bondi Junction, I feel incredibly privileged to lead a team of passionate, dedicated educators who truly believe in the importance of Early Childhood Education.

Every day we are inspired by the children in our care- their curiosity, creativity and unique voices.

At Gingerbread we are deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels heard, respected and empowered to grow. It’s a joy to support our educators as they foster meaningful relationships, encourage exploration and celebrate each child’s individuality.

“It is true that we cannot make a genius. We can only give the child the chance to fulfill his potential possibilities”
