Exciting news for local families! In January 2027, Gingerbread Kindergarten will open its third location in Norwest, offering trusted early learning and the best childcare in the area.
Designed specifically for families around Bella Vista and the business district, our new centre will provide reliable, year-round long day care with the same warmth, quality and community spirit that parents already value at our existing centres.
Currently, we operate two centres – Castle Hill/Kellyville and Bondi Junction/Queens Park—built around what truly matters: small group sizes, experienced educators who stay with us long-term and programs focused on genuine child development rather than marketing appeal.

Proven Success Across Centres
Gingerbread Kindergarten isn’t new to early learning. Our Castle Hill centre achieved an Exceeding rating across all seven National Quality Standard areas, while Bondi Junction is renowned for staff stability and strong family connections.
Our track record demonstrates why parents trust us as a child care subsidy-approved centre and as a leading provider of long day care locally.
Stable, Experienced Staff
Many of our educators have been with us for over ten years. This stability is vital for children, who thrive in consistent, familiar environments. By carefully hiring and supporting our team, we create workplaces where educators choose to stay long-term, ensuring continuity of care for every child.
Locally Owned and Family-Run
Unlike corporate-operated centres, Gingerbread Kindergarten is family-owned and locally managed. We make decisions on-site every day, guided by the needs of the children and families we serve—not metrics from a distant office. This hands-on approach ensures a personalised, child-focused experience.
Higher Staffing Ratios Than Required
We consistently maintain educator-to-child ratios above regulatory minimums. More educators mean better supervision, more individual attention, and faster responses when children need support, creating a safer and more nurturing environment.
Programs Designed for Every Learner
Every child deserves to participate fully, regardless of learning style or challenges. Our programs are intentionally designed with equity in mind, ensuring that no child is left behind and all children can thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.
1. Babies and Toddlers (Birth to 2 Years)
Our nursery provides a calm, nurturing environment with intentionally small group sizes, allowing babies to recognise familiar faces and develop a sense of security through predictable routines. Feeding, nappy changes and sleep schedules are handled patiently and respectfully. Experienced educators read infants’ cues accurately, responding thoughtfully to ensure comfort, safety and early developmental support.
2. Pre-Kindergarten (2–3 Years)
Children in this stage are eager to assert independence, and our pre-kindergarten program channels that energy productively. Learning is play-based, with opportunities to build, paint, explore outdoors, and engage hands-on with activities that capture their natural curiosity. Toilet training is approached collaboratively with families, respecting each child’s pace with no pressure or shaming.
3. Preschool (3–5 Years)
Our preschool program for 3- to 5-year-olds offers a rich variety of experiences, including music, drama, yoga, sports, and nature-based learning. These activities develop social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills, preparing children confidently for school and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Choosing Gingerbread Kindergarten means selecting programs that focus on meaningful development, not just keeping children occupied.
At Gingerbread Kindergarten, we understand the demands of modern family life. Our centres are here to support working parents, allowing you to focus on your work while knowing your child is safe, happy, and engaged.
Our long-day care operates from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, 51 weeks per year, providing consistent, dependable care that fits your schedule. Free preschool programs run during term-time only. With our extended hours and year-round service, working families can rely on us for high-quality early learning every day.
We are excited to announce our newest centre opening in January 2027 at 61 Rosetta Crescent, Norwest, NSW 2153. With limited spots and high demand in the area, early registration is recommended.
